Sabayon – or zabaglione in Italian – is mainly known as a dessert but there are many ways to serve it. With this recipe, you’ll turn it into a delicious dip that makes it difficult to stop eating.

Ingredients and Method


  • 2 Egg Yolk
  • 11/2 tbsp. Sugar
  • 3 oz. Limoncello Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. Orange Zest
  • 1/2 cup Almond Cream (Sicilian Cream Trio)


  1. Transfer the egg yolks into a saucepan.
  2. Add the sugar and Limoncello Vinegar.
  3. Whisk the mixture at low heat with a whisk until you get a foamy sabayon.
  4. Finally, sprinkle the sabayon with the orange zest and serve with the Cantuccini on the side.
