Sweet & Smoky Rub - 100g/3.5oz
This rub is a sweet and smoky spice mix with garlic, paprika, cumin, brown sugar, salt and coriander. The ideal seasoning for meat lovers and smokehouse enthusiasts. With this rich spice mix you can easily bring delicious smoky flavors into the kitchen. The spice mix contains brown sugar and salt, to make meat even tastier. The salt removes moisture from meat, which the other herbs can dissolve into perfectly. The sugar caramelizes and creates a nice crust. The smoky flavor is due to the smoked chili peppers, bell peppers and the smoked salt.
Tip! Season a nicely oiled piece of steak with these herbs and be surprised by the sweet and smoky taste. To get the most flavor, rub the steak and let marinate for at least 30 minutes before grilling. Poultry and seafood also taste delicious with this mix.
The rub can be used in two ways: as a 'dry rub' and as a 'wet rub'. For a dry rub, rub the meat (fish or vegetables) with the dry mix. For a 'wet rub', let the spice mix soak in olive oil for an hour before rubbing it on the meat (fish or vegetables).
