Ingredients and Method
Ingredients
- 1 can Jackfruit
- 1/2 tbsp Sweet & Smoky Rub
- 1 tbsp Habanero Chili Sauce
- 4 Brioche Rolls
- 1 Pomodori Tomato
- 1 head Romaine Lettuce
- 2 tbsp Greek Yogurt
- 1 Cucumber
- 4 tbsp Ultimate Burger Sauce
- 1 jar Olives Stuffed with Jalapeños
Method
- First, drain the can of jackfruit by straining the fruit well in a colander. Meanwhile, slice the tomato, cucumber, and Olives Stuffed with Jalapeño.
- Marinate the jackfruit in the Sweet & Smoky Rub. Pull the jackfruit apart, giving it the structure of pulled pork. Then mix the Habanero Chili Sauce through the fruit.
- Slice open the bread and roast the jackfruit in an aluminum pan on the barbecue. Also grill the bread quickly on each side (about 11⁄2 minutes per side).
- Spread the Greek yogurt on the insides of the buns and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top with the lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and Olives Stuffed with Jalapeño. Finally, divide the jackfruit evenly between the buns and top with a good dollop of Ultimate Burger Sauce.
